My journey into skincare started with a simple love for facials. I always enjoyed taking time our for treatments, but over time that interest grew into something much deeper.
I also struggled with my own skin, which made me understand just how much it can affect your confidence. Seeing the difference the right treatments and lifestyle adjustments can make - both physically and emotionally, sparked a real passion in me to learn more and eventually help others feel the same.
Skincare has always been around me too. Alongside this, I always had a strong interest in business. I studied it throughout school and university, knowing I wanted to create something of my own one day - I just didn't know what that would look like yet.
After graduating in 2017, I worked in the education sector, but I never felt fully aligned. I knew I wanted more freedom, more creativity, and to build something meaningful. Over time, everything naturally came together, my passion for skincare and my desire to run my own business.
That's how Skin by Catherine Maria was created.
Today, I've built a private, calm, one-to-one space where you can truly switch off while your skin is cared for. I specialise in bespoke, results-driven facials, designed around your skin and how it feels on the day, no routines, no rushed treatments, just personalised care.
I'm always learning and developing my skills to bring you the best possible treatments combining relaxation with real, visible results.
For me, it's about more than just skin. It's about creating a space where you feel comfortable, confident, and completely looked after.
